Project brief
InvoiceTriage is an MDP Studio security lab for checking supplier invoice changes, BEC risk, and payment-scam signals before money moves.
Audience: Small business owners, bookkeepers, accounts staff, and security reviewers who need a pause point before paying.
What it does
InvoiceTriage reviews payment-related messages and looks for supplier impersonation, changed bank details, urgency pressure, mismatched sender evidence, risky attachments, and unclear payment context. The goal is not to approve a payment. The goal is to tell the user when to slow down, verify by a trusted channel, and avoid sending money until the evidence makes sense.
Why this matters
Invoice fraud is dangerous because it usually looks like ordinary admin work. A rushed accounts inbox, a supplier name that seems familiar, and a bank-detail change can be enough to move money to the wrong place. This project turns that moment into a repeatable checklist with a visible verdict and evidence trail.
How MDP uses it
This is the kind of practical AI and workflow build MDP Studio wants to be known for: not a vague chatbot, but a specific business safety tool with clear boundaries, trust copy, and operator-friendly decisions.
