A Services page that gets enquiries

A simple structure that makes it clear what you do, who it is for, and what to do next.

Your Services page is where people decide

Many visitors will check your Services page when they are close to taking action. They are trying to confirm: do you do what I need, how does it work, and what should I do next?

If the page is vague, too long, or missing a clear next step, people hesitate. This does not require a redesign. It usually requires clearer copy and a cleaner structure.

A simple Services page structure (copy-first)

1) Lead with one clear sentence: what you do and who it is for. 2) List your core services in plain language (3 to 7 is usually enough). 3) Explain what is included and what is not, so the enquiry is better qualified.

4) Add one proof block near the top: reviews, photos of real work, a short credentials line, or a simple before and after. 5) Put one obvious next step in two places: above the fold and after the details (Call, Book, or Enquire).

Three practical examples (swap in your words)

Trades: "Repairs and installs for homes and small businesses. Clear quotes, tidy work, and a fast booking path." Beauty and wellness: "Appointments for people who want a clean, consistent result. Before and after photos plus simple aftercare notes."

Local services: "On-site support for busy customers who want the job done without back and forth. One clear call button, one short form, and a reply expectation." The goal is not fancy wording. The goal is clarity.

Make it a monthly habit: one improvement at a time

Once a month, pick one small improvement: tighten one service description, add one real photo, update one FAQ answer, or move your main enquiry button higher on the page. Small changes compound when they reduce confusion.

If you want this handled as a routine, MDP SignalDesk Lite includes one monthly website update plus a mini activity report. You can start with a free website activity check: https://mdpstudio.com.au/signaldesk/.
